PREMIER ACADEMY CELEBRATES OUR HEROES!!!!

Premier Academy is a Nationally Accredited Early Childhood program, providing quality services to over 300 families in low-income areas in the Metro Atlanta area. Established over 30 years ago, Premier Academy continues to be a pioneer in the world of children’s early education.

Premier Academy has recently implemented an initiative that targets important father figures in the lives of our children. Premier Academy has chosen to honor these men by hosting a weeklong celebration. This week will be named, “HERO WEEK”. The event will kick-off on Monday, June 11th and will continue through Friday, June 15th.  The celebration will be in honor of father’s day.  There are some children who live in homes where fathers may not be present. Thus, we are inviting the children’s “heroes” to come and celebrate with the children. 

During “Hero Week”, the fathers and significant males in our children’s lives will be invited to various events.  Staff will adorn the center with banners, host our annual “Doughnuts for Dad” event, give gifts made by their children to heroes, facilitate an event geared towards Reading called Dad’s Playbook:  Coaching Kids to Read, which is sponsored by Smart Start Georgia Early Reading First DREAM Project and fathers will be encouraged to visit classrooms and read books to the children.

Premier Academy is excited to commend and celebrate positive male role models who truly make a difference in the life of each of our children.
