Community Education

Not only has Premier Academy, Inc. been in the business of providing child care, but has also served as a beacon for linking resources and opportunities that empower children and families to achieve their full potential. Throughout the year, families are offered classes in child development, communicable diseases and parenting to name a few. Continuously, Habitat for Humanity works with many of the families at Premier Academy throughout the year on budgeting and obtaining home ownership.

In conjunction with local businesses and other nonprofits, Premier Academy, Inc. sponsors a community health fair each fall. This health fair covers all aspects of health and safety for the home and family. Some of the community representatives include Fulton County Health and Wellness, Eye Specialist of Georgia, Eye Care 4 Kidz, A smile 4 You, Everest Institute, Georgia Power, Atlanta Metropolitan College, Atlanta Fire and Rescue Safety House and the Atlanta Police Department. Participants to the health fair have free access to vision screenings, dental screenings and high blood pressure and cholesterol checks.
