Minnie Howell After School Achievers is designed to ensure that school age children are improving academically and developing leadership skills. This after school education program provides services that enhance each youth individually to achieve success at their own level.
The program is designed to enhance the total development of youth by participating in the following activities daily:
• Homework Assistance
• Enrichment Activities
• Sports & Fitness
• Spanish & Sign Language as a Second Language
• Special Projects
SUMMER CAMP
The Summer Institute is open during the summer and is considered “ A University for Children”. This program allows campers to explore various experiences that makes their summer enjoyable but yet a “teachable moment.”
Highlights of this program include:
• A Leadership Training Summit
• Multi-Media Adventure Experience
• Competitive Games
• Field trips to Cultural Event
• Arts & Crafts
